NewLife Ladies is home to a diverse group of women, no matter your background, age, shape or weight there is something for everyone. From recreational trainers to fighters - we have got you covered. 

Our Ethos

" When I created NewLife Ladies my goal was to make combat-based sports & fitness options accessible to all women regardless of their previous experience, fitness levels, age, or background.

NewLife Ladies helps to provide women with their own identity within a traditionally male-dominated environment. NewLife Ladies is open to anyone who identifies as female. 

Often, our biggest fight is within ourselves. Here at NewLife Ladies, we have a big focus on overall health and well-being as opposed to concentrating solely on aesthetics. Boxing & Kickboxing will make you stronger, fitter & faster - it also helps to shed that extra 10lbs from your mind.

 

Coaches Ana & Niamh both started out, as complete beginners, with NewLife Ladies a little over 3 years ago. They, like myself, both understand that walking through the door can be pretty daunting. Just know, we have been there too.

New Students

We are currently accepting new students, however, due to high demand and limited space, we are doing this via a waitlist. If you pop your name on there, as soon as space becomes available we will contact you via email. 

 

Classes operate on a drop-in basis, meaning you can pick and choose which day(s) you would like to attend each week. It's completely flexible.

It's easy to sign up...

  1. Please add your name to the waitlist and we will reach out to book up as soon as space becomes available. 
     

  2. Please ensure you fill a Medical Form prior to arriving for your first session. Please ensure you keep this information up to date and submit a new form should there be any changes. Please notify the coach of any medical issues that may affect you and where relevant have any medication (eg. inhaler etc) you may need with you. 

  3. Book a class either via the Bookings App (preferred method) or via the Booking Online page. 
     

  4. Please arrive 5 minutes early to class. We have COVID 19 protocols in place to keep everyone safe. These are outlined below. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with them prior to attending.  
     

  5. Should you wish to cancel or reschedule you can via the Bookings App or by sending us a message via the Chat Box on the bottom right-hand side of this page. 

Equipment Needed

Due to COVID, we can no longer provide Gloves or Handwraps to borrow. We offer both for purchase at reception. Alternatively, if you would prefer to purchase online, please feel free to send us a message and we will be happy to help. 

  • Water 

  • Comfortable training gear

  • Mask (for entering & exiting the gym)

Classes & Memberships

MON: NewLife Ladies Kickboxing - 6.15 to 7.15 PM

THU: NewLife Ladies Boxing - 6.15 to 7.15 PM

SAT: NewLife Ladies Boxing - 10.45 to 11.30 AM

  • Pay As You Go for £6/session

  • Any 4 classes per week for £40/month 

  • Unlimited classes for £60/month

We operate a COVID safe environment:

  • Social Distancing is in play for Adults when dropping off & picking up.
     

  • Adults should wear a mask.
     

  • We would ask you to please wait outside in the foyer prior to when you arrive.
     

  • We will then call each person/family forward, one at a time.
     

  • You will be asked to sign in (Track and Trace measure).
     

  • We will take your temperature & ask you to sanitize your hands before they enter the class.  
     

  • Adults are permitted to use pads in Levels 2 & 1 as per Boxing Scotland Guidelines. Full Contact is permitted from Level 0. 

  • Indoor contact sport is currently permitted for youths 17 years and under, meaning the kids do not have to socially distance themselves from each other.
     

  • Equipment is cleaned down after each session & high touch point areas are being regularly sanitized. 
     

  • We are routinely testing our coaches & fight team via lateral flow tests to minimize any risks.
