" When I created NewLife Ladies my goal was to make combat based sports & fitness options accessible to all women regardless of their previous experience, fitness levels, age or background. NewLife Ladies helps to provide women with 

their own identity within a traditionally male dominated environment. 

Often, our biggest fight is within ourselves. Here at NewLife Ladies we have a big focus on overall health and well-being as opposed to concentrating solely on aesthetics. Boxing & Kickboxing will make you stronger, fitter & faster - it also helps to shed that extra 10lbs from your mind.

We are dedicated to constantly progressing to both meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. The proposition has grown vastly in the last 3 years and we have no plans of slowing down.

Psssst! None of our classes contain sparring - that's a separate mixed class and open to all if you fancy it!



Do I need to be fit to start or have previous experience?

Absolutely not, all of our classes, including the mixed ones, are designed and delivered to cater for all levels of fitness and experience. You will not be 'holding anyone back'. It's a team effort here at NewLife!

Do I need to book in advance or become a member?

Nope. You can just drop in with out prior booking. We would ask you to arrive 10 - 15 mins early on your first visit as there is a medical questionaire for you to fill in the first time you train, just to ensure we are aware of medical conditions that may affect your training. We will also show you how to wrap your hands.

You do not need to be a member - PAYG for £6 per session. Alternatively you can take a monthly membership which starts at £40/month - no contract.

What is involved in each class?

All of our Ladies classes focus on the basics of the individual sport, so you will learn how to punch and kick correctly alongside learning how to hold pads, work the bag, footwork etc. There is no sparring - everything is focussed on pad/bag work. We also warm up well and finish with some conditioning.

What should I wear and bring along?

Whatever you are comfortable in! Anything goes. We train barefoot or in socks. All kit is provided for you to borrow, so just bring yourself and some water.
